Spring M&A internship at HDR Partners

HDR Partners is looking for a highly talented individual to join us for an internship starting January 2023. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn about the M&A industry from a successful team with extensive experience from private M&A. Our core business is helping entrepreneurs divest their companies and we work with rapidly growing companies within the Tech, Healthcare and Consumer sectors. Through experience, drive and innovative problem-solving, HDR has displayed an impressive success rate leading to +100 closed transactions since foundation in 2005. The position is based in Stockholm and you will work together with 15 professionals of different seniority and background.

The position:

You will become an important member of the deal team and operate in a transaction-intensive environment. You will be able to take an active role in a variety of different transactions. Primary tasks will include e.g. company and industry analysis, valuation, information gathering and preparation of presentation material. The high level of involvement in live transactions combined with our internal competence development efforts will enable you to have a steep learning curve.

Desired profile:

We expect applicants to have a genuine interest for the financial industry, the ambition to have a prosperous career within M&A and to contribute with high energy and an eagerness to further develop within M&A.
We also wish you to fulfill the following criteria:

• At least two year completed Bachelor studies within finance, business or engineering
• Strong academic track record
• Self-motivated, productive and outgoing team-player with willingness to learn and develop
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and Swedish)
• Previous experience within investment banking or management consultancy will be considered as merit but is not required
